The story

Born in the working-class alleyways of Tunis, lablabi is a cult-status morning and late-night street food that revitalizes the body against cold weather. In classic street stalls, customers are handed an empty bowl to tear their own stale French baguette into bite-sized shards before the vendor ladles over boiling, garlicky chickpea stock and aggressive spoonfuls of cumin and olive oil.
